Most events will be announced here so pay attention.  If there is something new one of the officers will throw the information up in MOTD.  The raid calendar is here to make sure new users get placed in raids and do not waste away idle in the guild.  Make sure you talk to the officer in charge of raid assignments once you join BTP.  Once you have joined a raid please keep in mind that it will be run as fair and just as possible.  This may mean that you may be moved to another raid if the group makeup does not work.  NEVER take a reassignment personally, as it is usually a decision to maximize group success.  You will always have plenty of other raid options in Behead the prophet.  To see open positions in our raids go here.

Loot:
There are two metrics we will always try to appeal to when dealing out loot.  One, will the loot drop help the main tank's survivability.  If the gear is an upgrade for the main tank then the loot should go to him/her.  This helps progression and ultimately the entire raid more than an open roll.  If you do not like this policy you are encouraged to either run with a VERY well geared tank, or another guild.  Two, we believe open roll on an item to be the best approach for most loot cases.  Everyone believes in the random roll system, but it does have shortcomings.  We will always try to maximize utility for the whole raid.  This means if you are winning all the purples for the night, then it is best you pass a purple to someone else that may need it.  Your raid leader may step in and enforce this, but it would be best to recognize the problem and correct it yourself.  As for all the green BOE junk that drops in your raid: please pass.  Every raid leader will either assign an enchanter (or someone with free bag space if there is no enchanter) to loot all the BOE greens.  Any green with + to some school of resistance  or a truckload of stamina should NOT be disenchanted as we may need it to gear people for progression.  As for everything else: the DE mats will be used to make more oils or help guild members get enchants on their gear.

Signing Up for More Raids:
If you have the gear and you are not already tagged to a raid instance feel free to put yourself in the queue or sign up for another raid.  Make sure you show up though, because if you don't the penalties below will apply.

Missing a Raid:
It is not a crime to go idle in the guild or miss a raid, but you MUST remove yourself from any raid assignments 24 hours in advance so someone can fill your spot.  If you fail to do this more than twice, and your raid complains, you will be removed from the raid, and you will not be assigned to another until you earn back our trust.

Raid Times:
If your raid time is 10:00pm server that means the whole raid should be buffed up and ready to pull by 10:00pm server.  Please try to get to your instance 15m in advance to help this process.  If you always hold the raid up and your group is not okay with that, then you will be removed from the group.

Raid Leaders:
It is your job to lead your raid and there is too much to say about leadership skills for us to go into it here.  The best advice we can give you is to remain dispassionate in your mediation, and you will be served well.  If people are not making it to your raids or if they become a problem please try to explain to that person and the officer in charge of raid assignments why you believe there is a problem, and we will take care of it.  Ultimate authority for your raid lies with you.

NOTE: If you want to get into a raid and do something YOU must take action by talking to the officer in charge of raid assignments.

The officer in charge of raid assignments as of 01/01/2008 is: Jouteikashi
